Code Warrior Debugger doesn't display correct variable values
The Code Warrior Debugger doesn't always
display the correct values for local variables and this is with
all optimisations turned off!
When the compiler optimises your local variables into registers
then the debugger wont display them.
If you open up the register window you will find that one of the
registers will update with the values you'd expect for your
variable.
Using the keyword "volatile" before
your variable declaration (when debugging) will stop the variable
from being optimised, and the debugger will display the variables
correctly.
Code Warrior Keyboard - ctrl-shift arrow key doesn't hightlight the word i want
Code warrior as shipped does not map the
ctrl-shift arrow keysroke to highlight words - so you have to set
it up yourself.
As follows.

Click "Key Bindings" under
"General"
Open up "Editor Commands"
Locate "Select Word Left" & double click
enter your keystroke, (CTRL+SHIFT+ARROW_KEY)
do the same for "Select Word Right"
click save

The image on the TV is shifted over to the left (If you've got a SONY TV)
1. put it into standby
2. on the remote press the ? then 5 then volume up then screen
(small white
outline square) within a second of each other.
3. the telly will burst into life & if you've been succesfull
you'll have a load
of green writing all over the screen, with TT-- in the corner.
4. from here you press menu, & on my telly I then have to
select 1
of around 5 different devices ( TDA8366 1 is the device on my
telly)
Under here there is a menu option called H SHIFT, adjust this to
move the image left & right
5. to get out of this mode press menu to get back to the TT--
screen you got
1st, and then enter 00.
6. DISCLAIMER - I've been told that some of the menu options can
seriously
DAMAGE YOUR TV if you set them wrong.
Also there is NO return to default parameters option.
So if you knacker your telly its not my fault
