Not really a technical note but what the hell. The following is a list of cheats for Bouncer 2. To enable the cheats pause the game and enter the cheat string on controller 0. To disable the cheat just enter the cheat string again. You will hear a sound to confirm the cheat has been enabled/disabled. You do have to press the buttons quite quickly, start off quite slow and if the cheat does not work first time try and speed your button presses up a little.

OK the first three cheat codes give you infinite lives, infinite bombs, time you get the idea.

Infinite lives : L1, L2, R2, R1, R1, R2, L2, L1

Infinite bombs : L2, R2, L1, R1, L2, R2, L1, R1

Infinite time : R1, L2, L1, R2, R1, L2, L1, R2

Next we have the good old level skip cheat. Once the cheat is active, continue the game and press select at any point during the game to skip the current level.

Level skip : R2, R1, R2, R1, L2, L1, L2, L1

The next cheat gives you access to the bonus levels. Just complete a level with the cheat enabled and the next level will be one of the bonus levels.

Bonus levels : TRIANGLE, SQUARE, CIRCLE, TRIANGLE, SQUARE, CIRCLE

Right then you know the memory card option that is disabled in the options menu well I was asked to disable it otherwise the game would not make it onto the CD. The original game allows you to save your progress to memory card. It all works in the correct way using the CD product code as the file name but obviously Sony did not think my code was good enough (and who can blame them!!) You even get a little animating B2 guy if you view the files on your memory card. Even the highscore table gets saved along with any cheats that are enabled.

I have been using this for option for quite a while now and have never had any problems. As long as you do not go pulling the memory card out in the middle of a memory card access then you will have no problems either.

Memory card : CROSS, SQUARE, CIRCLE, TRIANGLE, SQUARE, CIRCLE

Just a word of advice since the first button is the CROSS button you should highlight a different option than continue game. Otherwise as soon as you press the CROSS button the game will continue.

The last two cheats just change the appearance of the game.

Large blocks : SQUARE, TRIANGLE, CIRCLE, SQUARE, TRIANGLE, CIRCLE

Large bonuses : TRIANGLE, SQUARE, CIRCLE, TRIANGLE, SQUARE, CIRCLE
