NAHP! - (Not Another Home Page!)

So you're browsing and you want to see what I've got to offer.
Well, put it this way - NOT MUCH!

I don't intend to put any fancy graphics on these pages at all.
(But that's what I like - fast downloads.)
I find writing HTML unstimulating, and I prefer to spend my
time gazing at some wretched buggy code.
I mean, if I wanted to write HTML, I'd go to geocities.
But no, I'm here so that I can share my code.

I purchased my Net Yaroze during April this year, but didn't
really start writing code for it until the late April.

NOTICE - 25 July
Things are getting slightly behind, as you have probably
noticed. Everything, absolutely everything has been
put on hold. Why? Well, I've just started work, and I'm
staying away from home for the next several weeks. So
that means no computer to work on. But don't worry this
site will be active again, I reckon from the 21 August.

Laters!

Outstanding Problems -

13 June 1998 I noticed this before, but I thought it was an
isolated case. Most links in the search facility,
(which still link to chuka.ps.co.uk), gives
"ERROR 305 -- The server stopped sending data."
                or
"Error E0-0908 (Vdb Access): Error in read_stream:
                 00000022.ddd, DOC, 87"

Old Reports

--------------------------------------------------------------
Having been writing code for several weeks now, (today is
2 June 1998), I believe I can now help others by sharing my
thoughts and knowledge.

Scott Evans' Series of Technical Notes

There is still a bundle of stuff out there I still haven't
learnt, but I'm learning as quickly as I possibly can.
But if there are any topics in which you would like to
see please email me. Also, any contributions to these
documents are welcome.

-------------------------------------------------------------
In a sideways step to the tutorials and documents above,
I'm starting to write some files, that are the
building blocks for games. As a warning prior to
downloading this stuff, there are virtually no comments
and descriptions to these files, as these are NOT
tutorials. If they warrant a tutorial, it will
be placed in the above section.

If you are deciding to use these files, I'd appreciate
some credit. Thanks! 1 July 1998

Largely unchanged from that in "Reading the Controllers"
tutorial.

Saving to Memory Cards 2 July 1998
I've provided the most basic functionality. Everything
is wrapped up inside here. Of course, I could write
something comprehensive, renaming files, deleting files,
getting the icon images from other saved files on the
memory card, but that would just lose the simplicity I'm
aiming for.
Another thing to mention.
PLEASE BACK UP THE CONTENTS OF YOUR MEMORY CARD BEFORE
USING THIS LIBRARY. I WILL NOT BE REPONSIBLE IF USING
THIS LIBRARY CORRUPTS YOUR MEMORY CARD OR ITS CONTENTS.

Also, I have written a demonstration file which may prove
to be useful. Left and Right to change state.

Actual working demos, are slightly light on the ground,
right this moment (in other words - 1). But my intentions are
to introduce new things into the next demo I create.
And any new things which I learn will be backed up by
a tutorial/document.
Try them out.
